Floriz, 1

Vrieslander has just set off for home after a two-week stay. 2 He has also taken my manuscript with him for Cotta, and will take it to Stuttgart himself. —

We travel Monday 30th overnight, arriving Vienna Tuesday morning, so that we can be lunching at Turezky's by midday. 3 Weisse cannot be there because of the loss of his grandfather, Dahms because of price increases.

3 Schenker's diary at OJ 3/1, p. 2277, August 31, 1920: "Mittags bei Turetzki: erhöhte Preise. Floriz erscheint; erzählt, daß er Mitte des Monats nach Hamburg reise; von Konzertplänen nichts mehr." ("Midday at Turetzki's: raised prices. Floriz comes; says that he will travel to Hamburg the middle of the month; nothing more about concert plans.").
