Ob Kl. um diese Zeit in Wien sein wird, weiß ich nicht, doch könnte die Unterhandlung auch dann schriftlich geführt werden. Oder willst du, daß ich schon jetzt schreibe? Oder ihn nach Gelegenheit hier aufsuche? Eine Zeile der Auskunft erbittet.

No sooner had I whipped out my pen to write to Klenau than it occurred to me – at the last moment – that you would like this action to be postponed until Easter. Whether Klenau will be in Vienna at this time is something I do not know; however, the negotiation could be carried out by letter. Or would you like me to write to him now? Or look him up here, as the opportunity arises? A word of clarification requested.
