¹ The planned flight was 435 miles, from Constance down the Rhine to Mainz, then back to Stuttgart, lasting 24 hours. Aerodynamic problems forced the airship to land just short of Mainz and offload all superfluous cargo, after which it completed the first half of the journey and turned back at Mainz. It later came into contact with some trees and caught fire.
