Footnotes1 The Eucharistic World Congress, led by Cardinal Wilhelmus Marinus van Rossum by order of the Pope, took place in Vienna, September 12–15, 1912. The congress was a major church-political and cultural event in Vienna, which culminated in a procession from St. Stephen’s Cathedral along the Ringstrasse and back on the final day. |
