Im Apollo-Theater. So manche Leistung imponirend; im Großen u. Ganzen aber deprimirend den Anblick des Publikums gefunden, das man der Konkurrenz halber zu einer Unersättlichkeit in bezug auf die Zahl der Vorführungen geradezu zwingt. So many of the accomplishments were impressive; but we were, on the whole, depressed by the perspective of the audience whom, for sake of competition, one had verily to force into a gluttony with respect to the number of individual acts.
