Man kann sich kaum Abscheulicheres denken, als seinen Vortrag der Sonate, den er offenbar als Muster hinstellen wollte, da er die Sonate als Zugabe spielt. Wunderer als Dirigent u. Musiker ist nur ein Witz.

He is without doubt a fundamentally musical person; he also has good hand, which would be capable of the finest things, but he is lacking that depth, and consequently the possibility of using his available gifts to the advantage of the art-work. One can scarcely imagine anything more abominable than his performance of the sonata, with which he apparently wanted to set an example since he plays the sonata as an encore. Wunderer as conductor and musician is merely a joke.
