1 Schenker’s diary for this day records: “Mrs. Kolischer appears at precisely 3:30, professes not to have read my letter on account of the small handwriting, etc. In any event, the gratifying result is to be recorded, that the very hour itself was used for discussion. Until further notice, the little one will remain the only pupil!” [Presumably this means only the daughter, and not also the mother.]
