Footnotes1 A letter from Elias (diary, September 16) confirmed that the number of lessons she would take remained the same as that in 1913/14, in which season she received three lessons per week, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday. Only five lessons are recorded in the 1914/15 lessonbook, and they occur on a Wednesday (Oct 21), two Thursdays (Oct 8, Feb 6), and a Saturday (Mar 20), with one indeterminate, so it is impossible to build a complete picture of her lesson schedule. |
