In probably the first such communication since 1910, Felix Kornfeld describes to his mother, Jeanette Schenker, his current difficult situation, his deportation to a concentration camp and release, his joblessness and divorce, his son (with photograph), and his urgent need to emigrate, and asks whether his mother has contacts abroad that could facilitate this.
