Sie unterschätzen die Wichtigkeit bei unseren Besprechungen anwesend zu sein, denn doch etwas zu sehr und nöthigen mich dadurch Ihnen in Complimentform jene Wahrheiten zu sagen, die uns bestimmen auf Ihre Mitwirkung unbedingt zu reflectieren. 2 Ist es nöthig zu betonen, daß wir froh sind unter Musikern eine Intelligenz zu finden. Das überbrückt mehr als einen Parteiunterschied – wenigstens ist das meine Empfindung. — Wir sitzen ja von 5 Uhr ab ‒ ‒ ‒ ‒ wenn Sie also um 7 Uhr gehen, ist alles erledigt. You underestimate the importance of attending our discussions ‒ rather too much, in fact ‒ and thereby oblige me to pay you the compliment of giving the real reasons why we regard your involvement as essential. 2 Is it necessary to emphasize that we are delighted to find one intellect among musicians? That counts for more than factional divisions, at least in my experience. — We are meeting from 5 o'clock onwards. ‒ ‒ ‒ ‒ so if you leave at 7 o'clock, all will be settled.
