1 A 28-page typescript study of Op. 117, No. 1 survives as OC 14/2, and an earlier draft as OC 14/3. The diaries for Sept and Dec 1929 also indicate that Hoboken worked on Nos 2 and 3, and that Schenker did preparatory work of his own.
