7.
Bloch :

Chaconne beinahe ganz gut; immer sicherer u. selbstbewußter. 1 Repetirt 1. S. ebenfalls bereits recht gut.

Bloch :

Chaconne near-excellent; steadily more secure and self-assured. Beethoven: [Sonata] final movement: error as a result of the remarkable organization of measures 1–4 and all its {21} reiterations, especially in the development section, in which in the metrically weak fourth measure no change of harmony occurs. 1 Revisited: first movement, likewise already really good.

Footnotes

1 The change of harmony on the last measure of each four-bar phrase occurs at the opening of the Exposition, but not at the opening of the Development section, where diminished seventh chords occur in straightforward four-bar phrases. (Perhaps Heinrich dictated “kein” but Jeanette heard “ein”.)
