Hans Bischoff

German pianist and teacher, pupil of Theodor Kullak and Richard Würst. From 1873 to 1888 Bischoff taught piano at Kullak's Neue Akademie der Tonkunst in Berlin.
Bischoff produced critical editions of the keyboard works of Schumann (11 vols, 1887) and J. S. Bach (7 vols, 1880-88) for the publishing house of Steingräber, and also selected works of Handel, Mozart, Clementi, Schubert, and Weber.
