Pianist who wrote music criticism for the liberal or left-leaning Breslauer Zeitung as well as the social democratic Volkswacht. For years he organized the musical evenings of the Humboldt Society in Breslau.
Markt wrote to Schenker in June 1918 (OJ 2/11, p. 901), but no correspondence between the two men is known to survive
