Mrs. Oesterwitz was proposed by Baronesse Emma Fischer (OJ 11/2, [2], February 23, 1923) as one of five young female music teachers to whom copies of the first three issues of Schenker's Der Tonwille were to be sent in order to disseminate Schenker's ideas. Schenker was asked to send the copies direct to her.
