Henry Prunières

French musicologist, specialist in French music of the 17th century, on which he was active as editor and author of books and articles. Notably he edited the collected works of Lully (completed posthumously) and wrote biographical studies of Lully and Monteverdi.
He was founder-editor of the journal Revue musicale from 1920 to 1939, in which capacity he was contacted by Anthony van Hoboken in 1926 (letter from Hoboken to Schenker OJ 11/54, [6]).
