Career Summary
Reinhold was a pupil of Jakob Epstein (piano), Otto Desoff, and Bruckner (composition) at the Vienna Conservatory (1868-74). He was professor of piano at the Vienna Conservatory from 1897 to 1924; in 1905 he is recorded as teaching in the piano Ausbildungsschule. According to Paul de Conne (who had also taught in the piano Ausbildungsschule), as reported by Schenker (OJ 8/3, [67]), Reinhold was due to retire from the Conservatory (by which time it bore the name Akademie für Musik und darstellende Kunst) in 1919, at the time that its President, Karl von Wiener, resigned.
