Woehl was editor of numerous baroque chamber and orchestral works by Corelli, Fischer, Pepusch, Telemann, Abel, J. F. Fasch, W. de Fesch, Alessandro Scarlatti, Purcell, Handel, Haydn, and others, notably in the series Hortus Musicus (Bärenreiter).
Woehl’s publications include Klavierbuch für den Anfang (Wolfenbüttel: Kallmeyer, 1927), Melodielehre (Leipzig: Quelle & Meyer, 1929), Das Bach-Buch für Klavierspieler (Wolfenbüttel: Möseler, 1927), and Die Blockflöte (Kassel: Bärenreiter, 1930).
