Wir wissen nicht recht, was tun; ohne Fundament bleibt eben alles in der Luft schweben, auch die Arbeit, die keine Wurzel fassen kann. Jedoch kann sich jeden Augenblick etwas ergeben. Ich sollte als Organist an die deutsche Kirche nach Paris kommen, mag aber mit all diesen Sachen durchaus nichts mehr zu tun haben. Und so heisst es: abwarten. Gesundheitlich geht es uns ganz gut; die Sonne hilft über vieles hinweg und für das Kind ist es ein Paradies. – Demnächst schreibe ich ausführlicher. 9, Avenue Mont Rabeau _ _ where I am staying currently. We really don't know what to do; without a home base everything constantly floats in the air, even work, which is unable to take root. But at any moment something can happen. I should have gone to Paris and play as an organist at the German church, but with everything going on I can't have anything to do with it anymore. And so it's a matter of biding my time. In terms of our health we are doing quite well; the sun helps us get over many things and for the child it is a paradise. – I will write more to you soon.
