Der Drei-Masken-Verlag berichtet, dass Sie sie mit der Drucklegung des Prospektes für Ihr Jahrbuch angefangen hat, dass aber der Text von Vrieslander weit über den Rahmen eines gewöhnlichen Prospektes hinausgehe, und dass, falls er ungekürzt abgedruckt werden soll, ich die Kosten davon übernehmen soll. – Ich bin hier nicht im Bilde und weiss nicht, was seinerzeit wegen eines Prospektes verabredet wurde. Ich möchte Sie daher fragen, ob Sie den Vrieslanderschen Text kennen, und ob Sie der Meinung sind, dass derselbe nicht gekürzt werden kann. Drei Masken Verlag reports that they have begun printing off the prospectus for your Yearbook , but that the text by Vrieslander far exceeds the boundaries of a usual prospectus, and that, if it is to be printed without abridgment, I am to absorb the cost. —This is news to me, and I don't know what was agreed upon at the time regarding a prospectus. Thus I would like to ask whether you know the Vrieslander text and whether in your opinion it could not be shortened. Then I will gladly assume the costs for printing [it] as well. ⁴
