Footnotes1 This address occurs in two other letters, both with the year 1897: OJ 6/3, [2], April 2, 1897 and OJ 6/3, [3], May 22, 1897. The absence of a stamp or franking suggests that the envelope and its contents may have been delivered by hand. The envelope is badly torn in the right-hand corner, obscuring part of the recipient's name. |
