To Mandyczevski, Nottebohm's working copy returned, with a letter; in it, the tip of every perfidy broken off in advance, with the explanation that I have copied his notes because I did not indeed wish to misappropriate his property. He, who misappropriates my property, will perhaps also be able to interpret my tone of voice. 1
