Brief von Botstiber mit der Mitteilung, daß die Herren des Direktoriums 2 einstimmig die Honorarforderung für zu hoch befunden haben. Er gibt der Hoffnung Ausdruck, „daß später ...“ u. s. w., „das beiden Teilen conveniert.“ Ich aber sage, mir conveniert das Freisein von Wiener Gebundenheit!

Endlich von Mama ein Brief beruhigenden Inhalts eingetroffen.

Brief aus Bonn mit Mitteilung, daß Cappi 3 dort nicht vorhanden ist.

Karte an Fl. mit Vorbericht mehrerer Ereignisse.

Letter from Botstiber with the communication that the gentlemen of the directorate 2 are unanimous in saying that my requested fee is too high. He expresses the hope "that later" etc. "that would be agreeable to both parties." I say, however, that what is agreeable to me is being free from Viennese bondage!

Finally, a letter of reassuring content received from Mama.

Letter from Bonn which says that the edition of Cappi 3 is not available there.
