— From Tal (postcard): has written to the three gentlemen. — Asked about ticket and luggage prices at the West Train Station. — From Mittler (letter): complains about his inability to compose long works, balks at "politics." — Fanny Violin 6:30–10:00; gave her the second issue of Tonwille for her brother and notice given of a visit on Monday. — From UE: proofs of Op. 2 No. 2, Op. 10 No. 1, Op. 53. Started making fair copy of Haydn's Sonata in E-flat major 1 for the third issue of Tonwille (Urlinie).
