Finish Haydn 1 at 11:45 – Lie-Liechen still has some writing to do on it. — To Orlay in the afternoon: does fillings for me, complains about the inflation, recommends requesting fee in gold Kronen. 2 — From Dr. Violin (postcard from Hamburg): was {2455} ill, asks how I am doing. — Lie-Liechen finishes everything having to do with Haydn late in the evening.

After a period of hyperinflation in Austria 1920–22, when paper Kronen because virtually worthless, in October 1922 the country received a loan of 650 gold Kronen from the League of Nations, and this helped stabilize the currency.
