1 Ambiguous: more likely, "IV. Band" denotes Der freie Satz, to which Schenker had recently been referring thus. Less likely, it denotes the continuation of Der Tonwille (now reissued by UE as three Jahrgänge); however, Schenker distinguished clearly between "Band," "Heft," and "Jahrgang."
