(Br.= WSLB 372): die Turiner Rezension 1 zurück. — Sprung allein. — Hoboken sagt sein Kommen zu. — Knapp vor Hoboken erscheint ein Finnländer namens Kilpinen, der – wenn ich richtig verstand – den Wunsch nach Stunden für sich u. seine Frau äußerte. Ich verspreche ihm, schriftlich den Tag zu bestimmen, an dem ich ihn empfangen kann. — Abends an Brahms’ IV. Sinfonie, 2 2. Satz (für Hoboken).

— To UE (letter= WSLB 372): the Turin review 1 returned. — A quick walk, alone. — Hoboken confirms that he will come. — Shortly before Hoboken arrives, a Finn by the name of Kilpinen who, if I understood correctly, expressed the wish for lessons for himself and his wife. I promise to specify, in writing, a day in which I can receive him. — In the evening, work on Brahms's Fourth Symphony, 2 second movement (for Hoboken).
