Frau Mayer gab dann die eigentliche Weihnachtsvorlesung zum besten, las aber schlecht, langweilig, wie im Zimmer gesprochen, zuweilen wie ins Ohr geflüstert u. viel zu lang. Endlich glaubte man sich erlöst durch Vorträge des Orchesters Watzek – da kam man erst recht in die Traufe.
