DEUTSCH Wien II, Böcklinstrasse 26 Telefon Nummer R 45–6–72 [An:] ⇧ Herrn Dr. Heinrich Schenker Galtür Tirol {verso} ⇧ Wien, 30. August 30 Lieber verehrter Herr Doktor! 10). Gute Heimkehr wünscht Ihnen und Ihrer Frau Gemahlin Ihr ganz ergebener [signed:] ⇧ O E Deutsch [in pencil:] 1. IX © Transcription William Drabkin, 2023 |

DEUTSCH Vienna II, Böcklinstrasse 26 Telephone Number R 45–6–72 [To:] ⇧ Dr. Heinrich Schenker Galtür Tyrol {verso} ⇧ Vienna, August 30, 1930 Dear revered Dr. [Schenker], 1 Well, since you will probably return home as early as the beginning of next week, it is even more difficult for me – caught in urgent work – to answer you as comprehensively as I would like. But please let me know when I can visit you. From about the 4th to the 6th I shall be away, however, with my family in Trofaiach, near Leoben (Roseggergasse 10). I wish you and your wife a pleasant trip home. Your wholly devoted [signed:] ⇧ O. E. Deutsch [in pencil:] September 1 © Translation William Drabkin, 2023 |
