Footnotes

1 No diary entry recording the receipt of this item has been found. The Heiligenkreuzerhof is located at the junction of the Grashofgasse and the Wolfengasse, with an entrance on the Schönlaterngasse, just south of the Fleischmarkt, in Vienna I. In OJ 11/54, [4], September 28, 1925, Hoboken reports that between August 31 and September 5 he and his wife had seen the apartment, were delighted with it, and had rented it for a year. It is likely therefore that this calling card dates from around late September.
