Sehr dringend!

II. 1925, u. 8 Hefte TW. stark. Dann schreibe [continuing in the left margin, top to bottom:] ich in Ruhe mehr. 3

Bitte, sehr dringend.

Floriz! 1

Something very urgent: if possible, could you ask one of the seven institutes with which you furnished copies of Der Tonwille whether and [if so] when the fourth issue of 1924, i.e. the last issue, which was not published until January 1925, arrived from Universal Edition ; that would be an inestimable service. I recall that the Frankfurt [music] department replied to you very courteously; perhaps you could approach them. Then be so kind as to send me their reply. 2

I received your lovely letter= OJ 14/45, [43]; on Thursday I shall finish the first Yearbook , which was begun on February 27, 1925, and contains as much as eight issues of Der Tonwille . Then I shall write [continuing in the left margin, top to bottom:] more, in peace. 3

Please, this is very urgent.

Many greetings to you and your family from me and Lie-Liechen.
Yours,
