Wir erleben das befreiende Ereignis, daß die Wage [sic] in der Apotheke die falsche Angabe einer anderen Wage corrigiert. Also auch unter den Wagen gibt es etwas wie schlechte Aerzte! So ist mir ein Alp von der Brust gewichen; denn nichts machte mich all die Tage her so besorgt, als das Rätsel, wie Lie-Liechen im Laufe von 2 Wochen 2 Klgr. verlieren konnte.

We experience the liberating result that the scale at the pharmacy corrects the readings of a different scale. Thus even among scales there is something like bad doctors! In this way I am freed of a trauma: for nothing has been troubling me so much these days than the mystery as to how Lie-Liechen could have lost two kilograms in the space of two weeks.
