Der Brotwucher tritt immer deutlicher zutage, ohne daß aber die Staatsgewalt Stellung gegen die Bäcker nimmt. Es ist klar, daß die Mischung gefälscht wird u. daß die vielverrufenen Bäcker selbst die ärgste Not der Mitbürger, den Hunger, zu Wucherzwecken auszunutzen sich nicht scheuen. — Im Restaurant wird die Suppe zum erstenmal auf 24 h erhöht!

The bread extortionists become ever more visible, but without the state authorities taking action against the bakers. It is clear that the dough recipe is being corrupted and that the much-discredited bakers themselves are not afraid of exploiting the most dire predicament of their fellow citizens – hunger – for purposes of profiteering. — In the restaurant, the price of soup is raised to 24 Heller for the first time!
