From Sophie (letter): Salo is fulminating against [our] brothers, Hans has approached Mozio. — From Elias cancellation by messenger. — To her, by the same messenger: the heating was not functioning properly anyway, caution is therefore to be advised. — Lie-Liechen's concierge is at my place to refill the gas meter; since the stove is not working, go to Medek – the plumber appears in the afternoon, and it transpires that the fault lies with the main house gas meter, something that the lady concierge had not communicated to me. The stove is removed, we fetch coal from the cellar and make a fire. {2015}
