— From Waldheim (letterOC 54/345): the costs come to 770 shillings – the deadline is June 10, they urge [me to provide] the Foreword. — To Weisse (express letter): Waldheim’s letter; I too am in a hurry; shall we undertake a joint visit to Khuner? — To Baroness Fischer (letter): thanks for her sympathy – congratulations on the concert. 1 — To Dr. Lanzer (letter): I send Mozio’s letter and my response. — To Vrieslander (letter): Nagel’s letter 2 concerning No. 74 and Benninger. 3 — After teatime, at Fuchs’s: he calms us and writes a prescription. — I wait for Mrs. Pairamall in vain; at 5:30 Lie-Liechen inquires by telephone, and learns that the gracious lady had already left home in the morning {3735} and has probably forgotten!! — To Mrs. Pairamall (letter): we depart on June 15! —© Translation William Drabkin. |
