The valley is bounded by the Rätikon and the Silvretta in the south and the Verwallgruppe in the north. The southernmost end of the valley is some 12 km (c. 8 miles) west of the Schenkers' regular vacation spot, Galtür, from which it is separated by the Zeinis Pass. He asks Violin’s opinion about a subscription plan for a periodical that would appear four times a year (instead of the current two), and hopes that his friend might spare a few days to visit him in Galtür.
