Footnotes1 Receipt of this postcard is recorded in Schenker's diary at OJ 3/1, p. 2220, March 11, 1920: "Von der U.-E. (K.): meldet Uebersendung von op. 101." ("From UE (postcard): reports the dispatch of Op. 101.") 2 This postcard is not known to survive.. Its writing is not recorded in Schenker's diary (OJ 3/1, p. 2220). 3 Receipt of the sonata volume is recorded in Schenker's diary at OJ 3/1, p. 2220, March 10, 1920: "Von der U.-E. per Boten op. 101." ("From UE by messenger, Op. 101"). Presumably this refers to vol. II of the Beethoven sonatas in the von Bülow edition. |
