1 Receipt of this postcard is recorded in Schenker's diary at OJ 3/1, p. 2225, April 8, 1920: "Von Hertzka (expreß): komme morgen ins Café Vindobona." ("From Hertzka (express post): he will come to the Café Vindobona tomorrow.") This postcard was sent by pneumatic post (Rohrpost).

2 April 7 was a Wednesday, so the meeting took place on April 9, and is recorded in Schenker's diary at OJ 3/1, p. 2225, April 9, 1920: "Nachmittags mit Hertzka: Verträge werden durchgegangen; mache Konzessionen zu 40 Pfennig - beinahe einig - empfehle Rueskefer. ("With Hertzka in the afternoon: contracts are gone through, I make concessions to 40 Pfennigs – nearly in agreement – I recommend Rueskefer."); "An diesen (pn. K.): möge zu Hertzka gehen." ("To the latter (pneumatic postcard): please go and see Hertzka.")
