1 Receipt of this telegram is recorded in Heinrich’s diary for June 20, 1933: “Von Weil (Telegramm): Gratulation!” (“From Weil (telegram): congratulations!”). — 1933 was the only summer in which the Schenkers vacationed in Schloß Reigersberg, Ilz, Styria.

2 June 19, 1933 was Schenker’s 65th birthday.
