1 Receipt of this letter is recorded in Heinrich’s diary for August 2, 1923:
“Von Mozio (Br.): Erlagschein (Coupon) an Widy u. paar grüßende Zeilen – somit ist
endlich in Erfüllung gegangen, was mich jahrelang begleitete, marternd u. beschämend.”
(“From Mozio (letter): postal transfer form (coupon) to Widy and a few lines of greeting
– with that, that which has accompanied me for years, torturing and humiliating, is
finally fulfilled.”).
2 Heinrich’s diary for
July 25, 1923 records:: “An Mozio (Br.): ersuche ihn, die Widy-Rechnung zu begleichen. —
An Widy (K.): habe die Rechnung an den Bruder geleitet.” (“To Mozio (letter): I ask him to
pay the Widy bill. — To Widy (postcard): have sent the bill to my brother.”).
