Ich 1 habe nun einen 3 monatigen Kundenurlaub zur Vorbereitung für mein Doktorat bekommen und frage bescheiden bei Ihnen an, ob ich im Monat Juni regelmäßig Stunden nehmen könnte, um Kontrapunkt und Gen-Baß zu wiederholen. Ich stehe Ihrer Antwort in Wien entgegen, wo ich am 1. Juni eintreffe.

I 1 have just received a three-month furlough, to prepare for my doctoral degree, and I ask you modestly whether, in the month of June, I might have regular lessons with you in order to review counterpoint and thoroughbass. I await your answer in Vienna, where I shall arrive on June 1.
