Footnotes1 Dispatch of this item is recorded in Schenker's diary at OJ 4/3, p. 3433, January 23, 1930: "Brief an Rinn rec. aufgegeben." ("Letter to Rinn sent by registered mail."). The letter itself is not known to have survived. 2 i.e. the mezzotint portrait of Schenker made by Viktor Hammer. As we learn from OJ 13/25, [10], May 15, Rinn ultimately does not print it in Der Kunstwart. |
