1 Cotta's carbon copy survives as CA 138.

2 As requested by Schenker in CA 136, October 23, 1910.

3 Probably the brief notice published in the Sonn und Montags-Zeitung, Wien on October 24, 1910, and sent to Cotta in CA 136, October 23, 1910, which praises vol. II/1 and in retrospect vol. I, preserved at OC 2/p. 21. The unidentified author concludes: "We reserve to ourselves the prospect of a detailed review of this work by Schenker." No such fuller review in that journal is preserved in Schenker's scrapbook (OC 2).
