Footnotes1 Kahn registered at the beginning of the saison for two lessons per month. In October Schenker raised her fee to 4,000 Kr. a lesson, but in February comments that she is paying only 2,000 Kr.; this is reflected in Schenker’s remark to Moriz Violin: “I am teaching the likes of Hupka and Kahn almost without charge” (OJ 6/7, [2], January 29, 1922). |
