The Eißler family was involved in the timber business. Josias Eißler & Söhne dealt in wood preservation, and was based at Vienna I, Elisabethstraße 22; Josias Eißler & Brüder were timber merchants, based at Vienna I, Reichsratsstraße 19; and Eißler & Ortlieb was a "Bosnian Forest Industry," also based at Reichsratsstraße 19. Additionally, Moriz B. Eißler was an auditor (Zensor) at the Austrian Hungarian Bank.
