Wife of Louis Schiff, sister-in-law of Jeanette Schenker (née Schiff) thus after 1919 also of Heinrich Schenker; mother of Trude Schiff and Wilhelm Schiff.

Hermine was the second of the five children of Julius Hahn (c1849–) and Josefa (née Tausig) (1852–). Nothing is known of her childhood or education. She married Louis Schiff and the couple had two children: Trude Schiff and Wilhelm Schiff.

In April 1936, the family was still living in Ústí nad Labem, where they were visited by Jeanette Schenker at the outset of her six-month journey to and from Chile, and where she met Louis, Hermine, Trude, and probably her two grandchildren, all of whom were “kind and considerate” to her. Nothing is known of the remainder of her life or that of Louis (Trude perished in Auschwitz), as did several other members of the Schiff family.
