Mir fiel besser ein: „Wellingtons Sieg oder Die Schlacht bei Vittoria“, die wohl seit langem überhaupt und vielleicht seit den ersten Aufführungen in der Reitschule nie in der Originalbesetzung, mit Kanonen etc. aufgeführt worden ist. Wenn schon monströs, denk ich mir, dann Beethoven. Auch Berlioz wäre wohl bei solchen Anlässen der rechte Mann. Aber ich bitte Sie, wenn Ihnen etwas anderes einfällt, mir eine luftige Karte zu schreiben.

Die Übersetzung ³ bekommen Sie nächste Woche. Frau Gusti Roth, die sie Ihnen schicken wird, verlangt höchstens S 10.– dafür. Hoffentlich ist das nicht zu viel.
