1 Receipt of this letter is recorded in Heinrich’s diary for August 9, 1920: “Von Mozio (Br.): sendet die erbetenen 2000 Kronen, dem lieben Wilhelm gehe es schlecht.” (“From Mozio (letter): is sending the requested 2,000 Kronen, dear Wilhelm is doing poorly.”).

2 Writing of this non-surviving postcard is recorded in Heinrich’s diary for August 2, 1920, the same day on which he withdrew 7,500 Kronen from the Innsbruck branch of the Austrian Provincial Bank: “An Mozio (Karte): erbitte 2200 u. kündige mit Rückgabe des Schuldscheines die Rückforderung der 10000 Kronen an.” (“To Mozio (postcard): request 2,200 [Kronen] and signal through the return of the debt note the demand to return the 10,000 Kronen.”).
