Du weißt ja, wie ich deine Lässigkeit fürchte, die post festum ein „zu spät“ konstatiert, ‒ ich muß dich also sehen, damit Sonntag‒Montag der Versuch gemacht werden kann. Es wäre ja schade, wenn wir eine solche Nummer verlieren müßten. 1 Vielleicht morgen ins Caféhaus?

You know very well how afraid I am of your dilatoriness, which amounts to a "too late" after the event. Hence I must see you, so that the attempt can be made on Sunday or Monday. It would be a pity if we had to lose a golden opportunity like this. 1 How about tomorrow in the coffee-house?
