Footnotes1 An undated handwritten draft survives as CA [208], and Cotta's carbon copy survives at CA 131 with "September" changed to "Okt," which appears correct in view of the fact that in OJ 9/31, [27], October 4, Cotta informs Schenker that publication has been "delayed by a few days," and Schenker's diary for October 7 announces "II1 wird ausgegeben!" ("Counterpoint 1 is issued!"). |
